Data We Collect

No Personal Data

We do not collect or store any personal information about site visitors. In particular, we have no login forms or comment sections, so nothing like a name or email is submitted by users.

Anonymous Analytics

We use Simple Analytics to understand how people use the site. Simple Analytics is a privacy-focused analytics provider that collects only anonymized usage metrics (for example, page views, referrers, browser type). Crucially, it does not place any cookies, record IP addresses, fingerprint devices, or identify individual users. In their own words, Simple Analytics "collect[s] only non-personal data" and "drop[s] IP addresses, do[es] not store cookies, and do[es] not collect or generate device identifiers". This means our analytics data cannot be traced back to you personally. We use these anonymous metrics simply to improve the website; we do not track you, serve targeted ads, or sell any data to third parties.

Hosting and Logs

The website is hosted on Vercel, a platform that supports GDPR compliance and strong security standards. Vercel may maintain minimal server logs (for example, timestamps, requested URLs, and IP addresses) for debugging and security purposes. However, we do not access any personal data from Vercel logs, nor do we use it to profile users. Vercel is SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliant, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and is committed to responding to data subject requests (such as access or deletion).

Domain Registration

Our domain is registered through GoDaddy. GoDaddy handles domain registration data (such as the site administrator's contact) according to its own privacy policy. We do not use domain registration information for any site functionality or marketing.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We do not use any cookies or tracking technologies on this site. Neither our own site nor Simple Analytics sets cookies in your browser. No session or persistent cookies are stored for site functionality. Because we use no cookies or similar techniques (and do not collect personal data), privacy regulations recognize that user consent is not needed for analytics under these circumstances. In short, you can browse our site without being tracked or profiled by us.

Third-Party Links and Services

Our product pages contain links to an external Etsy store (where you can purchase products). When you leave our site to visit Etsy, our Privacy Policy no longer applies. Etsy is an independent company with its own privacy practices. For example, Etsy's Privacy Policy states that it collects and uses information about its users under its own terms. We encourage you to review Etsy's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your information. We do not receive any of your personal data when you visit Etsy, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

We also use Sanity as our Content Management System (CMS) to manage site content. Sanity operates under strict data protection laws (including GDPR). However, Sanity is only used on our end to create and store content; it does not gather any data from site visitors or run any scripts on your browser. (In short, Sanity's role is on the back end, and it does not affect your privacy when you visit the site.)

Use of Data

Since we collect only minimal technical data, we use it only to maintain and improve the website. For example, anonymous analytics help us see which pages are popular or if any errors occur. We never use any data to identify you as an individual. We never share, sell, or lease any visitor data to advertisers or third parties.
